Megan Petruzzelli

I will be your Parent Rep Coordinator for 2022. I’m thrilled to see our school community growing so quickly!

This year, I will be supporting our class reps and helping them facilitate opportunities which connect families together. Despite a rocky start to the year, the class reps and I will endeavour to build a culture of care and belonging in our wonderful Christ-centred school.

My husband Nathan and I have two children - Claire, in Year 2, and Elim, starting Foundation in 2023. Our family has loved being a part of the Brooklyn Park Campus since it opened in 2020.

If you spot me in the yard, please come and say hi - especially if you like talking about good food and great places to eat out… The spicier, the better!
With the hope of social events becoming a reality next term, I’m forward to meeting you!

Ashlee Joppich

My name is Ashlee, I'm a wife to Nathan and Mother to Harper (ELC) and Alfie. This year is our first year at Emmaus Christian College as parents, however Nathan is an old scholar graduating in 2005.

I am a Family and Newborn Photographer. We love planning family getaways and making memories, playing board games, going for weekend walks (scooter rides for Harper), and catching up with our family and friends over a grazing board or dinner.

I look forward to meeting you during the year.

Carla Baker

Hello, my name is Carla Baker. I have been married to my husband Tim for twelve years and we have two daughters; Ava who is five and Sadie who is 10 months old. We have been part of the Emmaus community since Ava started ELC in 2020.

On weekends we enjoy family movie nights and going to the local parks with friends and extended family. We attend Coastlands Church in Brighton where I have served in Kids Ministry and Tim is still involved with the Production Team. I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know the Foundation families.

Jaye Harkin

My name is Jaye, I am married to Jordan and our daughter is Adeline. We have an Earthmoving business, are finally finishing a house renovation, and have recently acquired a Red Kelpie pup called Coco! We love and serve Jesus and are a part of a mission/church in the Port Adelaide area called Lighthouse City Mission.

Carolyn Rainsford

Hello Year 1/2 Parents and Caregivers! My name is Carolyn and I am one of your Class Reps this year. My husband Craig and I are parents to Callum (Year 1) and Lachlan (Foundation). I am originally from Canada but have lived in Australia for 12 years and am about to become an Australian citizen (finally!).

I look forward to connecting with you all as the year unfolds.

Fun fact: I used to teach English to Kindergarteners in Guangzhou, China before I became a lawyer.

Tanya Chesser

My name is Tanya and I am married to my husband Sam who is a full-time pastor and we have three children - Aria (age six and in Year 1/2), Abigail (age four in ELC) and Daniel (11 months). I usually work as a doctor - both in ED and as a GP trainee - but am currently on maternity leave. I currently work one day a week at our church, and am studying theology part time through Tabor College.

Lauren Pfotenhauer

Hi lovely families!

My name is Lauren and I am extremely blessed with a wonderful husband Rowan, and two special boys, Zach and Luke. I am from Durban, South Africa and we immigrated almost three years ago. God placed us in the amazing ECC community at the beginning of last year and I pray that you and your family love it as much as we do! In my spare time I love adventuring with my boys, fishing, kayaking and camping. I love walks on the river and enjoy a good cup of coffee with friends!!

Pamela Leow

As a Parent Representative, I am delighted to be part of the Emmaus Christian College. Since I married John, I have called Adelaide my home for the last nine years. God has blessed us with two wonderful children, Adrian and Benjamin. For my past time, I love to read and sometimes I just love to sit by the sunny beach to feel the sea breeze on my face. It is my honour to continue to serve God and the community.

Helen Christolenis

Hi my name is Helen Christolenis. I am a wife, and mum to Maria and Georgeah, both in Mr Heath’s class. This is our second year at Emmaus Christian College and couldn’t be happier.

A little about myself - I work part time for Wilson Security in admin, for a little over 10 years now. Being of Greek background, my family and faith are the most important things to me.

I enjoy going for beach walks in my spare time when I’m not driving the girls around to their afterschool activities. I also enjoying baking, although I’m not very good at it 😊
