Year 12 Subjects – Wellbeing and Pathways
Wellbeing and Pathways is a subject designed to support students’ personal development as they prepare for life beyond school. Grounded in the World Health Organisation’s (2014) definition of wellbeing, the program encourages students to realise their potential, manage life’s challenges, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. The Pathways component explores post-school education, training, and career options. Key topics include developing effective study and revision skills, investigating post-school pathways and career opportunities. The wellbeing component focuses on fostering healthy and safe relationships and engaging with the Rite Journey Revisited program to reflect on personal growth and maturity and prepare for adulthood beyond school.
This subject has two lessons per week for the whole year.
