Middle School Wellbeing Day

What a joy it was to see our Middle School students enjoying the beautiful Spring weather on Friday for our annual Middle School Wellbeing Day.

Each year the Middle School Wellbeing Day is different for our Year 7, 8 and 9 students. This year we were so thankful to be able to provide a range of activities for our students to enjoy including going to the nearby Jervois St Park, Art, Sport, ‘Quiz Night’ and ‘Minute to Win It’. Students engaged in activities in their Home Groups, academic groups and year levels and some prizes and treats were provided during their ‘Quiz Night’ session.

The wellbeing of our Middle School students is a high priority. This is why we set aside a full day to allow them to build relationships, have fun, engage in challenges, laugh, and interact with their teachers in a different environment. Many fun moments were had, and memories created during the day. Scripture encourages us to build one another up and lift our gaze. Hebrews 10:24 says, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Philippians 4:8 encourages us, “...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.”
