Year 11 Subjects – Electronics & Computer Aided Manufacturing (eCAM)
Level: Year 11
Assumed knowledge: 10 eCAM
In Design, Technology and Engineering students use the design and realisation process to engineer solutions for the development of products or systems.
This subject aims to further develop students’ practical skills in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and Electronic Systems. Students also develop Project Management skills through Design and Realisation processes. Students will undertake specialised skills tasks before completing a project combining the various skills acquired.
11 eCAM is a new Year 11 subject in 2022; Students who have completed the course could continue undertaking the following pathways within the SACE framework at Emmaus:
- Stage 2 Industrial & Entrepreneurial Solutions
