2018 SACE Results

  • Year 12 Results

Class of 2018

Today the 2018 SACE results were released and the overall Emmaus’ results are exceptionally strong. We give glory to God for the successes of our students and I would like to say a special thanks to our teachers and families for their support and hard work too. The results of our Year 12 students are the culmination of years of hard work invested by staff at all year levels.

Emmaus’ 2018 SACE Stage 2 results at a glance:

  • 100% of all Stage 2 subjects were awarded a C- grade or higher
  • 99% of students successfully completed their SACE
  • 44% of all Emmaus grades were in the A band - compared to 26% across the state
  • 15 Emmaus students received A+ scores, and 7 Merits (perfect subject scores) were awarded

Of those Emmaus students who qualified for an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR):

  • 55% achieved an ATAR over 80
  • 31% achieved an ATAR over 90
  • 15% achieved an ATAR over 95

The above 15% demonstrates that our high over representation in the A band goes all the way to the very top of the scale (15% of Emmaus students in the top 5% of the state!).

The highest two Emmaus 2018 ATARs were 97.8 achieved by Mitchell Raw and 97.65 by Joshua Hillier.

Eight Year 12 students achieved straight A’s across all their subjects.

The results of our 2018 Year 12 students are consistent with our 2018 NAPLAN results at Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 for Numeracy and Literacy which saw our Emmaus students perform 8% above State averages. This represents an average advancement of 15 months ahead compared to their same age average State counterparts.

Kind regards
